The Difference between Commercial Rubber and Insertion Rubber

Our black fabric reinforced insertion rubber offers the user fantastic tear-resistance and tensile strength. In particular, its strength and durability are much higher than that of a standard commercial rubber sheeting. This is due to the different manufacturing process it goes through to create the material. Although insertion rubber is manufactured from commercial rubber, it has a single ply 22 gsm cotton reinforcement. Subsequently, the increased tensile strength and resistance that is formed by cotton reinforcement means that the rubber cannot be easily torn. In this case, the reinforcement creates a new and more reliable formula of rubber – one that offers excellent durability.
